Executive MBA study program

The study program has an international accreditation issued by Z-Way to excellence Business School - a Swiss unit with over thirty years of experience in giving opinions on and accrediting study programs, including MBA, DBA, LL.M. and others related to management and the highest managerial competencies (Executive Education).

The study program will enable students to get acquainted with the issues of strategic management, elements of economic law, labour law, effective interpersonal communication, change management and development in enterprises as well as project management skills.

Students learn the basic principles of managerial economics, stages of the decision-making process and the principles of financial risk management. They also learn about the principles of financial controlling.

How does the way you speak affect the way others see you and how does the camera promote your image. This subject will be devoted to creating your image and personal brand.

This subject presents what a business strategy is and how to create it. It indicates the directions of creating and implementing strategies in the enterprise based on modern risk management methods in the organization. It presents strategic management techniques and business modeling as a strategic management tool. A modern approach to strategic planning and business model innovation and the blue ocean strategy will be presented.

The subject indicates what business ethics are and what impact they have on shaping the image of the organization. How CSR is developing in Poland and internationally, and what role does it play in public administration.

How to effectively manage change in an organization. The subject will present typologies of the change process and basic management theories. Cycles and stages of an organization’s life and elements of readiness to change, the roles of leadership and communication in the process of change. The role of the leader and the team in the change process will be presented.

Explanation of basic concepts – introduction to marketing and its functions in the company. Presentation of the basic principles of marketing, indication of trends and cognitive errors in marketing. Students will learn how to make decisions based on marketing analyses, and what strategies and marketing models to use in the company.

What is corporate governance and what instruments of corporate governance exist? We will learn about the models of corporate governance in relation to Sp. z o.o. and S.A. we will learn how globalization affects the supervisory order and what are the sources of its regulation. How to manage risk will also be discussed.

As part of the course, the student will learn about the legal foundations necessary for the operation of the enterprise. The basic concepts of commercial law, investment law and elements of public procurement law will be explained.

The subject presents the student with the legal bases in the field of employment, organizational and material liability of employees. It will show the possibilities of terminating employment contracts, distinguishing between the terms mandate contract and the contract for specific work and the basic principles of employing employees. Furthermore methods of counteracting bullying and discrimination in the workplace as well as contracts in the perspective of Supervisory Boards and Members of the Management Board will be looked at.

Students will be able to learn the concept of negotiation and communication as an essential element in achieving goals in their professional lives. Models of negotiating in different  cultures and their characteristics will be indicated. What elements of the negotiation process you must not forget in order to negotiate effectively and what are their stages. Communication and its basic barriers and errors will be presented along with active listening techniques necessary in the communication process. The audience will learn how to make a good impression during the conversation.

Students will learn the basic principles of corporate governance, state property management and the principles of corporate governance in enterprises.

Students will learn the basic tools of coaching work. They will learn the role of a leader in the team management process. They will learn who the leader is and what are the stages of his development. They will learn how to build a team based on communication.

The subject presents what a project is and how to implement it. The concepts of Agile and Waterfall design process management will be explained. Planning and supervision over the implementation of tasks in the enterprise will be presented.

The student will learn the basic Lean tool and become familiar with the concept of business process optimization based on BPMN 2.0 and management of quality systems in enterprises. The listener will learn about the assumptions of the Toyota system and the quality tools used in modern organizations.

Students will learn about the psychology of management and leadership. They will learn about the psychology of managerial decisions. Conflicts and the role of communication in an organisation will be shown.

The subject presents the principles of the diplomatic protocol and the basics of etiquette. The listener will learn the manager’s etiquette, i.e. the rules of how to inspire confidence in yourself and the represented company. The first impression can only be made once – the 30 second rule.

Students will learn the principles of designing and creating business models in organizations. They will learn how to use business models in creating new strategies.

The subject presents how to manage competencies in an organization. Students will learn what talent is and how to manage talent in an organization – discovering and strengthening talents. They will become acquainted with the classic structure of a HR Special lecture – A lecture led by an expert in a selected niche field related directly to business and management.
